I met someone last night whose specialty is helping companies build social networks that connect them with their customers. Interesting approach. Now companies become part of the same community as their customers. Why would they invest time and money to do this? To bond and gain the most important piece in the marketing puzzle: information directly from their consituency. They get to be inside the hearts and minds of those they wish to serve. It is no longer a them and us world. We are all one community. Should be fascinating to see this next generation of socianetworks.
